Today, March 26th, in 1874, the Pulitzer Prize winning poet Robert Frost was born.

In 1947, he visited Governor's and spoke to students, faculty, and friends of the Academy at a special evening meeting. He first discussed briefly the difficulties in understanding poetry, and then read from his own works, including the well-known "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening". Stop by the library lobby to read more on Mr. Frost. We also pulled out the 1947 Milestone to include some flavor of the times!
