Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2013

Every year, the Academy celebrates Martin Luther King Day in special ways. It is always a day full of talking about how to make Dr. King's dreams a reality, but above all it is a day of listening.

In the Wilkie Center, faculty, staff and students read poems and told their stories. Students participated in Acts of Creative Service in the afternoon. We still have a performance to look forward to before the full day is finished. It is called At the Table with Dr. King by the wonderfully talented group Dave LeMieux and House of Soul from Denver, Colorado, online at Listen. Live. Repeat.

Keep listening!
